This air filter is made to a 40 x 35-1/8 x 1″ nominal size for HVAC systems, air handlers, and return grilles that require an exact custom dimension rather than a standard retail size.
A properly fitting filter seals against the housing, so all return air is forced through the media instead of leaking around the frame.
