This 30 x 32 x 2″ Exact Filters® air filter is manufactured to your exact dimensions, eliminating the guesswork of matching an off-the-shelf filter to a non-standard 30 x 32 x 2″ opening.
Filter bypass — air slipping past a loose frame instead of through the pleats — is one of the most common reasons a filter underperforms its MERV rating in the real world. A precise fit closes that gap.
MERV 11 sits in the sweet spot for “upgraded” filtration: substantially better particle capture than MERV 8, without the static-pressure concerns that come with MERV 13 on older or undersized systems. It’s the rating we recommend most often to customers asking “what should I step up to?”
