This 24″ × 24″ × 4″ AAF Flanders VariCel II Extended Surface Mini-Pleat filter (part number 332-510-008) delivers MERV 13 filtration in a rigid extended-surface construction for commercial and industrial HVAC.
The VariCel II uses a mini-pleat extended-surface design — dramatically more filter media in the same footprint, with superior dust-holding capacity in high-humidity and turbulent-airflow conditions.
When VariCel is specified

- High-humidity environments — moisture-resistant frame won’t delaminate or warp

What MERV 13 captures
Very fine particles including smoke, bacteria-sized particles, and virus carriers attached to larger droplets, on top of everything MERV 11 captures. Commonly specified for commercial spaces with higher indoor-air-quality requirements and for homes with wildfire smoke or air-quality concerns. Ensure your HVAC system is rated for the increased static pressure.
