What Standard Capacity means

The SC (Standard Capacity) configuration is the everyday workhorse of the PerfectPleat line: MERV 8 filtration with lower initial resistance than the High Capacity variant. For most homes and light commercial spaces, SC balances filter cost, airflow, and dust-holding capacity.

MERV 8 — standard efficiency

MERV 8 is the baseline for good residential and light commercial filtration: effective against household dust, lint, larger pollens, and dust-mite debris — with low pressure drop so it protects airflow and coil performance.
