This 20″ × 24″ × 2″ listing (part number 148-802-782) of the AAF Flanders MEGApleat Premium pleated air filter delivers MERV 9 filtration and ships as a case of 12 filters.
MERV 9 — step up from MERV 8
MERV 9 captures smaller particles than MERV 8 while keeping airflow resistance in reach for standard residential and light commercial systems. A practical middle-ground when you want finer filtration without jumping to MERV 11 or 13.
Design and construction
- Media: Extended-surface premium synthetic pleated media with high dust-holding capacity. Mechanical capture — performance doesn’t fade as the filter ages.
- Frame: Heavy-duty moisture-resistant beverage-board with expanded-metal media support and bonded pleats to prevent air bypass.
- Max operating temperature: 180°F (82°C)
