The PrimeShield WashGuard 18″ × 24″ × 1″ metal HVAC filter is our house-brand washable and reusable filter. Rinse it out monthly, let it dry, and reinstall — no consumable to reorder, no box to throw away. Typical service life is 5–10+ years.
WashGuard is produced to PrimeShield specifications by one or more partner manufacturers, delivering the same build quality as the top branded washable filters at a better price point.

Construction

Care instructions
- Rinse every 30–60 days with warm water from the downstream side
- Mild dish detergent for heavy loading
- Shake off excess water, let air-dry completely before reinstalling
- Note the airflow-direction arrow before removing
