This 24″ × 24″ × 4″ AAF Flanders VariCel II Extended Surface Mini-Pleat filter (part number 332-528-008) delivers MERV 14 filtration in a rigid extended-surface construction for commercial and industrial HVAC.

The VariCel II uses a mini-pleat extended-surface design — dramatically more filter media in the same footprint, with superior dust-holding capacity in high-humidity and turbulent-airflow conditions.

When VariCel is specified

• Variable air volume (VAV) commercial HVAC — rigid construction holds pleat geometry across the full airflow range
• High-humidity environments — moisture-resistant frame won’t delaminate or warp
• Turbulent airflow — reinforced construction handles velocity variation

What MERV 14 captures

Sub-micron particles including most smoke and bacteria-sized particles. Standard residential HVAC equipment is rarely rated for MERV 14 static pressure.
