When your HVAC system calls for a 28 x 28 x 1″ filter and the standard aisle doesn’t carry it, this Exact Filters® unit is cut to your exact 28 x 28 x 1″ spec — no shims, no gaps, no bypass air.
Even a quarter-inch of gap around a filter can allow a significant percentage of return air to bypass the media entirely, which is why the exact fit matters as much as the filter’s efficiency rating.
This MERV 11 pleated filter is engineered for buildings where filtration matters — allergy-prone households, sites with pets, properties near construction or agriculture, light-commercial spaces with elevated particulate loads — but where the HVAC system wasn’t originally specified for the higher static pressure of a MERV 13.
