Description
When your HVAC system calls for a 29-7/8 x 29-3/8 x 1″ filter and the standard aisle doesn’t carry it, this Exact Filters® unit is cut to your exact 29-7/8 x 29-3/8 x 1″ spec — no shims, no gaps, no bypass air.
A properly fitting filter seals against the housing, so all return air is forced through the media instead of leaking around the frame.
MERV 13 targets the fine particulate fraction that lower MERV ratings allow through — including smoke, bacteria-carrying dust, and combustion byproducts. Airflow resistance is higher than MERV 8 or 11, so systems with borderline static pressure should be evaluated before switching up.
